Get 200ml teapot and put 5–6 teaspoons of green tea into it.
Fill the teapot with hot, but not yet boiling water.
Leave it for 5 minutes.
If still doesn't look as dark as black tea, go to 3.
Get a small cup and fill it.
Sip it slowly (you simply won't be strong enough to get mouthful of it if you're not yet an addict like I am) until you like it or until the walls and ceiling seem falling on you (stop whatever happens first).
Get yourself to kitchen and take a sip of cold clean water.

For whom how, like one Russian told another Russian he met in London in that joke.
In fact, it's just a fine tea. And switching tea frequently helps not to get used to it.
